Australian Merino
Australian merino is a fine–fleeced sheep bred in Australia and known for the highest quality of wool.
Adult ewes weigh 50–80 kg, rams weigh 90–120 kg.
Australian Merino sheep are highly fertile. Ewes can lamb twice a year and produce an average of 150 lambs per 100 ewes per year.

The wool of the Australian merino is distinguished by the special fineness of the hair, high strength, moisture absorption and softness of the fibers, as well as outstanding thermal insulation characteristics.
